The brief
63 brands on a website that made them hard to find
QST Technologies is an authorized distributor of medical, dental and veterinary equipment in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. It represents 63 manufacturers, including Fujifilm, Philips, Canon and Shimadzu. Its old WordPress site looked dated, split its products across a confusing structure and gave search engines little to work with. QST wanted a site that felt premium and current, and I wanted one its own team could keep up to date without calling a developer.
The approach
Two ways in, by specialisation or by brand
People reach QST from two directions. A clinician usually knows their field before they know the manufacturer, while a procurement team often has a brand in mind already. So the homepage opens two doors. One leads to nine specialisations, from radiology to veterinary, each connecting the visitor to the systems that fit and the team that knows them. The other goes straight to the brand partners.
Because QST is a distributor, the site doesn't try to copy each manufacturer's catalogue. A brand page shows a handful of featured products and links out to the manufacturer's own site for full specifications, and a quote request is always one tap away.

The site
The build
Built for QST's team to run
I designed and built the site in Astro, with Sanity as the content system, so QST's team can add brands, products and news themselves. Enquiries go straight to the sales team by email. It runs on Cloudflare Pages, which keeps it fast and free to host. On phones the structure stays the same, with a full menu and the quote button kept within reach.
On phones
Where it stands
Live, with the move to qsttech.com next
The new site is live on its own address while QST signs off the last brand details. The qsttech.com domain moves over to it after that.
